Who regulates HABC?
As a fully accredited Awarding Body, HABC is regulated by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual). The role of the Regulators is to accredit and approve Awarding Bodies to award qualifications.

An accredited qualification is one which is offered by Awarding Bodies which is accredited by the Regulators of qualifications in England (Ofqual), Wales (DCELLS) and Northern Ireland (CCEA).

What are the benefits of accredited qualifications?

Accredited qualifications provide candidates with certain guarantees about the qualification. The qualification will have met specific quality criteria that ensure it is fit for its purpose, includes relevant content and uses appropriate assessment methodology. Accredited qualifications have the support of Sector Skills Councils and therefore reflect industry standards.
