The HABC Level 3 Award for Deliverers of Physical Intervention Training in the Private Security Industry (QCF) has been developed for people wishing to teach physical intervention skills to people working in the private security industry.
The qualification comprises two units:
Unit 1 – This covers the knowledge and skills that the learner will need to be able to train those wishing to work in the private security industry. This unit is assessed by a practical assessment throughout the course by the tutor and a true or false questionnaire marked by the course tutor.
Unit 2 - This will provide the learner with the skills to teach and assess the practical skills safely. This unit is assessed by a portfolio of evidence.
