HABC is recognized by Ofqual, DCELLS and CCEA to award accredited Levels 2 and 3 Food Safety in Catering and Levels 2 and 3 Health & Safety qualifications. We are currently developing additional accredited qualifications that will be available shortly.
All of our accredited qualifications have been developed specifically for insertion onto the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF), the new framework for recognizing and accrediting qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland with full support from the relevant Sector Skills Councils. They are therefore relevant and fully cognisant with industry and regulatory standards as well as being recognized by Environmental Health Practitioners and other Enforcement Officers.
Additionally, HABC have developed numerous Level 1 qualifications designed for candidates starting work or as part of an induction program. All our Level 1 qualifications are designed for half-day courses in duration. As such, they do not have the minimum amount of guided learning hours to be Regulatory Authority accredited. Rest assured, all HABC Level 1 qualifications have the same high standards and relevance as all other HABC qualifications.
HABC have deliberately concentrated on a select offering of compliance qualifications, in which our team has in excess of 100 years experience. Specializing in this way enables us to divert all our resources to the areas that matter, delivering a superior, more focused service in the process.
In addition, HABC is in a position to approve bespoke non-accredited qualifications. Certificates of achievement can contain both HABC and the training/corporate organization’s logos. Please contact the HABC Team for more details.
