The HABC Level 2 Award in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events has been accredited by the regulators of England, Wales and Northern Ireland (Ofqual, DfES and CCEA) and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). It is supported by SkillsActive, the Sector Skills Council for the sport and active leisure sector.
This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to work as a steward in the Active Leisure and Learning sector. This may include sporting events, music festivals, rock and pop concerts, parades or carnivals.
Learners gaining this qualification will know how to prepare for events, control entry and exit of customers, identify and deal with crowd problems and respond to emergencies.
